S5560-EI-G features diversified fixed copper & combo fiber ports for cost-effective interconnection and non-blocking 1:1 network deployment to fit varied application scenarios.

IRF2 (Intelligent Resilient Framework 2)

IRF2 virtualizes multiple physical switches into one logical device for unified administration.
  • Simplified O&M: Configure one unit to manage the entire IRF cluster instead of individual devices. Cross-device link aggregation replaces STP to cut protocol interactions and speed network convergence.
  • Flexible scaling: New devices can be hot-plugged into or removed from the fabric without service outage to protect user investment.
  • High reliability: Link aggregation delivers multi-link redundancy; automatic master switch election and real-time protocol backup realize 1:N redundancy at device and protocol layers.
  • Improved performance: Aggregate forwarding capacity and port density of all member switches to boost overall throughput greatly.


Comprehensive Security Control Policies

The switch supports MAC, 802.1X and Portal authentication plus static/dynamic binding of account, IP, MAC, VLAN and port, enabling dynamic delivery of VLAN/QoS/ACL rules and real-time illegal access control when paired with H3C iMC.Enhanced high-capacity ACL supports VLAN-based rule deployment to save ACL resources. uRPF checks inbound packets by reverse route lookup and discards invalid traffic to block source IP spoofing effectively.

Multi-layer Security Protection

Part of the lineup adopts hot-swappable AC/DC redundant power supplies, with fan speed auto-adjustment and fault alarm for improved hardware reliability.It also supports LACP, STP/RSTP/MSTP, Smart Link, RRPP, IRF2 and cross-device link aggregation to ensure fast convergence and stable service under heavy mixed traffic.

Rich QoS Policies

It provides L2~L4 traffic classification based on MAC, IP, TCP/UDP port and VLAN, alongside SP, WRR and SP+WRR queue scheduling. Bidirectional port mirroring helps traffic monitoring and troubleshooting.


Excellent Management Features

Equipped with Console and out-of-band Ethernet ports, the switch supports SNMPv1/v2/v3, CLI, Web, Telnet and SSH2.0, compatible with iMC management platform. SPAN/RSPAN with multiple observer ports facilitates traffic analysis and network optimization.Built-in TAP function enables load balancing, N:M mirroring, header editing, ACL-based traffic processing, VLAN tag stripping and GRE/NVGRE/VXLAN tunnel decapsulation.
